STUDENT ACCOUNTS (eCampus, Office365, etc.):
In order to ensure that all Seminole County Public School students are able to log on to our devices and network, Information Services has reset ALL student passwords to the original format of each user’s birthday (yyyymmdd) for the start of the 2016-2017 school year.  Further information may be found HERE
6th Grade ePassport Accounts
The transition to middle school will require that all incoming 6th graders create and manage their password for many of our technology tools and the SCPS portal known as  ePassport ( http://epassport.scps.k12.fl.us ).   At this time, any incoming 6th grader attempting to log in to ePassport, will be prompted to (a) set up two Challenge Questions that will assist them with password changes in the future.  For security reasons, all middle and high school students will be prompted to set up their own personalized password within the next two months.

PSAT 8/9 - October 11th

Seminole County Public Schools will administer the PSAT 8/9 on October 11, 2017 to students in grades 8 and 9.  The PSAT 8/9 is the first test in the College Board Suite of Assessments and will be provided free of charge to students by the district.  The PSAT 8/9 helps students determine what they need to work on most so that they’re ready for college when they graduate from high school—and it supports educators as they guide the way.

The PSAT 8/9 tests the same skills and knowledge as the SAT and the PSAT/NMSQT—in a way that makes sense for eighth and ninth graders. It measures what they’re already learning, shows them whether they’re on track for college, and lets them know where they need the most improvement. That means students have time to tackle these areas long before they take the SAT.

In preparation for the PSAT 8/9, Khan Academy has partnered with the College Board to offer free personalized student practice with thousands of questions and videos covering every SAT concept.

Individual PSAT 8/9 results and explanations will be available 4-6 weeks after test day.

Thank you very much for encouraging and supporting your child during testing. Information will be distribute to all 8th grade parents/guardians in the coming week.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact ashley_furgione@scps.k12.fl.us.  Visit psat.org/8-9 to explore the benefits of the PSAT 8/9.
